The Maxwell Iowa Historic Museum, A Town of Many Tales by Gene Stevens

Sometimes the Iowa landscape just draws you in.

While doing research for my book, "Scoundrel's of Iowa" I discovered the Maxwell Iowa Historic Museum. I visited there twice over the Memorial Day weekend, and I was overwhelmed by the number of historic treasures and documents that the museum is in possession of. The museum has many good interpretive displays, and an extensive collection of photos and paper documents. I highly recommend this museum as both a tourist stop, and resource for historians and genealogists.
